Emily Lemieux - is a multidisciplinary artist, Head Aerial Instructor at Agora Arts, and Co-Founder of The Greatest of Ease Circus troupe, best known for crafting memorable characters and for her whimsical and ethereal performance style. Emily has been defying gravity for almost a decade, weaving skill and strength and style between ceiling ribbons, having completed rigorous Teacher Training with Paper Doll Militia and trained with seasoned circus performers throughout the United States and abroad. Her rich history in dance (ballet, jazz, etc.) and competitive cheer inspire her instruction, which focuses on form, injury prevention, character development and authentic expression.
Taylor Aquino - Taylor Aquino is Co-Founder of The Greatest of Ease Circus troupe and Head Aerial Instructor at Agora Arts. Combining nearly 20 years’ experience teaching, training and competing in high-level gymnastics with her background in therapeutic, holistic, and personal training, Taylor emphasizes the importance of injury prevention through body awareness and proper form in her various ground-based, movement, and aerial classes for adults and children at Agora Arts. Taylor’s spellbinding performances, high intensity training style and high threshold for pain leave students aspiring to push and climb beyond their glass ceilings and comfort zones to a place they call “Taylor strong”. Ashleigh Charles - Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor, Ashleigh has been a yoga practitioner for 13 years and a circus aerialist for 6. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University and completed post-master's coursework in Counseling for Wellness, Complimentary and Alternative Medicine. With 200 hours of yoga teacher training and over a decade of hands-on experience, her instruction is safety centered and thoughtful. Ashleigh's 25-year history as a competitive distance runner provides a strong knowledge of overuse- injury prevention. Her background in aerial circus performance and yoga merges perfectly with a career as a college counselor, crisis counselor, and private practice therapist. She loves to cultivate mind/body awareness in gentle, artistic ways, respecting the needs of all ages and activity levels.
Adam Rossi - After passionately teaching martial arts to children, Adam dove into the world of yoga and energy. He is now a Pranic Healer and certified yoga instructor. Combining his understanding of our physical, emotional, and mental bodies, he empowers us by shedding light on the limiting beliefs we hold. Adam offers us insight and provides clarity about circumstances and experiences so we may navigate life more smoothly. His ultimate aim is to help us embody our true self so we can begin to utilize our endless potential.
Don Hennessy - Began his training with Yang Style Tai Chi in September 1989 while living in Sydney, Australia with Sifu Peter Yu. Don switched over to Wu Style when he was unable to find a Yang instructor to equal Sifu Peter upon returning to the United States in January 1996. Extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to study with Grandmaster Eddie Wu, Don continues to train and assist in teaching with Sifu John Marchewitz and feels it is an honor to teach these skills to others.
Kelsey Gronowski- Kelsey began her yoga training at Moksha Yoga Cener in Chicago in 2015 and was gifted the opportunity of studying under master teachers, Ana Forrest, Gary Kraftsow, Leeann Carey, Gabriel Halpern, Aadil Palkhivala, and Leeann Carey. She has been practicing the life-changing art since 2007 and completed her 200-hour Yoga Training Course in 2016. In the winter of 2017, Kelsey traveled to Asia to study with Rishikul Yogashala in Kerala, India, where she completed an additional 300-hour Yoga Training Course. In May of 2017 she completed an 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Training Course through Mindful Mamas Prenatal Yoga. Her inspiration stems from the many trainings, workshops, and teachers she has taken, attended, and practiced under. Kelsey continues to explore her knowledge through self-practice and supplemental trainings. Kelsey's focus as a teacher is to explore the harmony between body, mind, and spirit. Yoga is so much more that just the physical practice. It is the combination of the physical body working in sync with breath work and finding you Self. The root of her classes rises form Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Ashtanga and inspires students to make the practice their own. Students can expect a safe, creative space to practice and flourish physically, mentally, and spiritually in their own unique way.
Dawn Fraylick - Dawn has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and pelvic floor problems she found yoga to be a great way to relieve pain, anxiety, and depression. She took her teacher training in Hatha Yoga to give back and help students the way yoga has helped her. As a yoga practitioner and teacher, she specializes in therapeutic use of yoga for trauma, addiction, pelvic floor challenges, depression, anxiety, and so much more.
Sangam Stanczak - Sangam is a Certified Yoga Instructor, as well as an environmental engineer, life coach, organic gardener, and most recently, a mother. Sangam’s goal is to share an effective technique to gracefully cope with past trauma and current hardships - large and small. Sangam uses a mixture of gentle stretching accompanied by movement and meditation to nurture physical, mental, and spiritual healing and flexibility. Kathy Sweeny - Kathy grew up in the world of yoga. Living this way has truly helped Kathy make the connection of mind, body, and spirit. In the past, Kathy was a fitness instructor. Kathy truly understands that yoga is so much more that just the physical practice. It is a pathway to our inner selves, a doorway to the Divine, a means of connecting to the entire universe. Kathy embarked on yoga teacher training to explore in greater depth the sacredness and philosophy of yoga. She is excited to bring this same feeling of peace, acceptance, unconditional love and healing to others.
Christie Cairo - Christie E-RYT 200, brings many years of experience and lightheartedness to every class she teaches. She creates a space for her students to grow and glow from the inside out. She began her career as a personal trainer in 1997 in the effort to help clients feel better about themselves. From there, she found yoga and loved what t does for the overall wellness of her students both physically and mentally.
Mayra Lorenzana-Miles - For Mayra, yoga is a tool to find stillness of mind and feel joy. She first learned about yoga and its philosophy over thirty years ago. However yoga was not accessible as it is now. It was about five years ago when she began a regular practice that lead to receiving a RYT-200. Currently she is undergoing a certification process for a 55--hour level on yoga therapy. She believes that yoga may benefit and empower people across body types, health, issues, faiths, and personalities. Breath, movement and stillness are the magical components of the individual process of self-knowledge in a yoga class. Her approach is to facilitate a practice that will lead to a gentle unveiling of the inner light in all of us.
